Holiday Recipes... Coming Home On tour... The Story... Christmas Music... The Artists Contact

“Someone Is Missing at Christmas” is the hit single, sung here by Anne Cochran, with a truly meaningful story from the Coming Home For Christmas compilation album. John Chaffee penned this song after his sister Lyn, a 21 year breast cancer survivor, was taken by ovarian cancer in 2003. While this song holds a deeply personal meaning for him, he emphasizes that “Someone Missing” can be different for everyone; a family member distant or estranged, a soldier away in the Middle East, or anyone else the listener is unable to see during the Holiday season. John plans to donate a portion of his earnings from this song to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, finding yet another way to honor his sister.

The song is also very personal for the producer, Randy Harper, who lost his wife, Hilary, to breast cancer the following year.

So, whether you are missing a loved one who has passed on or simply long to be near someone far away, take comfort in the memories and melodies while Anne Cochran sings "Someone is Missing at Christmas" on Coming Home For Christmas.
