Q: Why shouldn’t I handle my own merchandise distribution?
A: It takes, on average, 15 minutes to completely respond to a single order. If you receive only ten orders a day, those minutes add up quickly! Let the experienced staff at BrickHouse Direct fulfill your orders quickly and effectively, leaving you free to create! And, the staff at BrickHouse Direct has been successfully handling merchandise allocation and distribution for Jim Brickman and other artists for over 10 years, and they have the firsthand knowledge and expertise to quickly and effectively fulfill your orders.
Q: Will you handle my tour merchandise or just the online store?
A: BrickHouse Direct will manage all of your merchandise needs, including tour merchandise. We use our Tour Inventory Management Tools to keep track of precisely how many of each item is sold on any given date and use this information to track and ship the right quantities to you on the road.
Q: Why should I trust a new company like BrickHouse Direct when there are more established companies that do the same thing?
A: BrickHouse Direct has been the merchandising headquarters for Jim Brickman and many other artists for 10 years. The only “new” part of our business is that we are taking on new clients (you!). We have spent the past decade and a half fine-tuning our approach to inventory management and merchandise fulfillment, and we are certain that you will be more than satisfied with our services.
Q: What kind of support is available? If I need to call, will I get a recording, or can I speak to an actual person?
A: You will never get a recording when you call BrickHouse Direct (during business hours)! Our staff is here to serve you, and we will do everything in our power to make sure your experience is both pleasant and profitable.
Q: What if I don’t know anything about maintaining a website?
A: No Problem! We provide all clients with easy-to-use web templates that require only content-related input. In other words, you put the words on the page, and we make them look good!
Q: Will BrickHouse Direct be profitable for my organization? How can I be sure that sales will increase?
A: Sales are guaranteed to increase through our multiple direct marketing channels. The BrickHouse Community, Email Blast Tools and Street Teams (to name a few) are proven methods for increasing a fan base. We will work together to determine the best strategy to achieve the goals of your project.
Q: How will my merchandise and inventory be managed?
A: Our database keeps track of your merchandise inventory, telling us us when to order additional materials and giving you insight into the "hot selling" items. These tools will let you decide where your merchandise needs to go, in terms of design and product alike, to take your sales to the next level.
Q: Why should I do a Presale? Can't my fans just wait until the CD is in stores?
A: We can offer more to your fans than just your CD! When working with a presale process, we can include limited-time promotions, such as autographed liner notes, free shipping, promo posters, as well as many other items. Ask your representative what we can do to make your Presale a success! Also, a Presale is a great way to obtain information about fans’ locations that can later be used for targeted marketing campaigns and concert tour routing.
Q: How much involvement will I have as far as website and email content is concerned?
A: Clients are fully involved in all content! Should you prefer that we manage your content, that can easily be arranged, but most artists prefer to write their own updates. Fans respond very well to personal updates from artists, and we encourage each client to take the initiative in connecting with the public.
Q: Does BrickHouse Direct require that I license materials, images or recordings, or are you a service for artists?
A: We are a service! All clients retain licensing on their materials. BrickHouse Direct acts as a distributor for your merchandise, and the use of all images, recordings or materials is fully at your discretion.
